The edgeMED Innovation Practice Management software is driven by Microsoft Windows to create a dynamic, robust and user-friendly system. Innovation is designed for use in solo or group Practices, as well as billing services. Whether in single or multiple site environments, Innovation incorporates everything that is needed to successfully perform vital tasks.
The scheduling system empowers staff to maintain all patient-related appointment information electronically. Using an unlimited array of appointment types, staff is able to quickly find and schedule specific appointments by individual patient needs. The check-in feature allows encounter forms to be generated as a patient arrives, while a recall can be stored to alert staff of an upcoming scheduled appointment.
Innovation also incorporates a driver license card reader that allows patient information to be instantly imported into the system as the driver license is swiped. Sophisticated search tools, numerous views and reporting significantly improve scheduling while reducing cancellations and no-shows.
