GenVision
GenVision creates images of large quantities of data, so you can conveniently display annotations or comparisons of different data types.

GenVision, which has already been used to publish a number of annotated genomes, has proven to be a very flexible and powerful tool for visualizing large or complex data sets.

In addition to annotated genomes, GenVision can also be used visualize data comparisons. Annotations can be displayed as histograms, arrows, text labels or graphs. Each of these elements is drawn in relation to the genomic sequence coordinates.

A GenVision image is built from one or more Panels, where each panel is a set of related data. In the linear map above, the arrows represent transcripts, and all of these arrows are part of one Arrow panel. Similarly, the colored boxes representing genes are part of one Histogram panel. The text labels for the genes comprise a third panel, and the scale is a fourth panel.
