Coronary Risk Profile Description
|
The award-winning Coronary Risk Profile (CRP) assesses the risk of heart disease for both individuals and groups. CRP incorporates a lifestyle inventory plus a variety of screening tests.
A personal report identifies and explains risks and makes recommendations for risk reduction.
The risk of a heart attack is calculated using the Framingham Heart Study Model and is based on the National Cholesterol Education Program III (NCEP III) guidelines. Each participants risk of a heart attack is computed and compared to a person their age and gender with no risks as well as the average risk for a person their age. CRP is also available in an online version.
