CDPlims Description
|
CDPs LIMS product and pricing scheme is specifically aimed at health and environmental laboratories providing a full function LIMS at limited initial cost for software and implementation services.
The CDPs LIMS supplied with this scheme is designed with user definable tables containing definitions unique to a specific laboratory. This permits the LIS manager to define the system as needed, including test specifications, panel definitions, workstations, sex/age normal ranges (if required) reports, security, and other parameters.
Users of the CDPs LIMS are assigned appropriate levels of access by the system manager. When a user logs in, they will only see the functions and screens assigned to them. Patients will be entered (or pulled from the Patient Encounter System), specimen IDs created for each specimen, and test(s) ordered on each specimen. A work list will be created using detailed selection (user definable) criteria.
Laboratory testing will be performed. Test results will be entered offline or captured directly via instrument interfaces. The test results will be verified by accepted QC procedures and accepted or rejected and re-analyzed (if required). Patient Chart/test result reports will be printed for each patients chart file/sample file. Management reports relating to workload and utilization can be generated to promote effective and efficient laboratory services usage.
