TalkNotes is a complete electronic medical charting system.
The Electronic Medical Chart is the most efficient way for
a physicians office to track patient records and notes.
TalkNotes
electronic medical charting systems can streamline your billing
procedures.
The Power of the Electronic Medical Chart:
Search - retrieve documents using key word or other search
criteria, then print or fax directly.
Output - the patient's chart can be displayed as individual
documents or as a single, running chart.
"ActiveNotes" - note templates can be designed
to transfer data from previous visits to help complete documents
more quickly.
Charge codes - ICD-9, CPT and other user-defined codes can
be linked to any document or visit. In some cases, these
can be passed back to the practice management system.
Association - documents outside TalkNotes can be linked
to the chart
TalkNotes provides an automated alternative to the current
manual process of creating, distributing, and archiving
medical documentation. TalkNotes can immediately generate
and distribute dictated chart notes, shorten reimbursement
time, and improve patient service - all while being financially
attractive, paying for itself in less than one year. TalkNotes
also captures charge and procedure codes and other variable
outcome date, and integrates with existing practice management
systems. This allows physician practices to fully utilize
the benefits of the electronic medical chart or record (EMR).
Using TalkNotes, a physician selects a patient and form
type, then begins free form or structured dictation. When
dictation is complete, the document can be edited for accuracy
immediately or deferred. Another user can edit the deferred
document, using the physician's digitally recorded voice
file as reference. Completed documents can be automatically
faxed, printed, or emailed using predefined settings. The
electronic patient chart is appended when documents are
complete, eliminating the time consuming task of cutting
and pasting found in other applications. A powerful search
function allows users to quickly retrieve documents using
a variety of search option such as keyword, date, and patient
name and document type.
TalkNotes allows free form dictation, but can also collect
discrete data for use in outcomes reporting and provides
and electronic "super bill" where procedure codes
can be collected and exported to some practice management
systems including Lytec Medical 2000. These features reduce
the redundancy associated with charge entry, and help practices
rate their clinical effectiveness against industry norms.
