General Use Features:
Document Editability – All documents have been changed
from Adobe PDF format to a standard HTML format. This change
now allows users to edit documents, and, if desired to save
the changed document as a template to use again in the future.
Single Patient Signature Page – Whenever more than
one Instruction is printed, all information has been condensed
onto a single Patient Signature Page form.
Email to Referring Physician – In addition to faxing
a copy of the Discharge Instructions to the referral physician,
you now have the option of emailing the document(s). This
allows each Facility to decide how to address the concerns
of of the new HIPAA regulations.
Multiple Attending and Referral Physicians – You can
now select up to three attending and three referral physicians.
The first one listed automatically copies over to other
open documents.
Speed – This new version is faster than ever. Clicking
between tabs is now almost instantaneous. The new HTML format
also greatly increases the speed of printing.
Add New Diagnosis and/or Return to Work/School Form –
The return to work/school question has been eliminated from
the Questions Tab as well as the document. For those patients
that need a return to work/school form, it can be added
to the document set already created for a particular patient,
simply by clicking on the appropriate button on the bottom
of the that window. Similarly, you can add new Instructions
to a started Patient set, without having to start over.
Search Documents for Text – The entire library of
Instructions can be searched for key words or phrases within
the content, should you be unable to find the document you
are looking for.
